We contract with both fully licensed and associate professional counselors working under professional supervision to offer fee-based therapy services to our community. As a non-profit venture, we seek to offset counseling costs as we are able through grants and donations based on need. The counselors we work with contract to provide services as independent contractors. Counselors are professionally credentialed in the State of Georgia. At Smoke Rise Counseling and Care Center, we recognize that our we are all united by our shared humanity and the need for a listening ear. Whether it is for a season of life or over a longer period of time, counselors welcome the opportunity to speak with you about the ways counseling might be able to help.

Eliza Sanford
(She/Her/Hers) MS, LAPC, NCC

Eliza completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. She has her National Counseling Certification (NCC) and is in the process of obtaining full professional counseling licensure. Eliza has previous work experience with in a variety of settings including outpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and residential. Eliza specializes in trauma informed care, eating disorder recovery, couples/ families, mood related disorders, and co ocurring disorders. Eliza is now accepting new clients in-person or telehealth services at the Smoke Rise Counseling Location.
